How much does TachoMagic cost?
TachoMagic pricing depends on the services you use. Driver Analysis costs 15p per driver, per day and Vehicle Analysis costs 10p per vehicle, per day. GPS Tracking is £4.99 per vehicle, per month and Vehicle Walkaround Checks are £2 per vehicle, per month. Alternatively, a TADD subscription costs £12.95 per vehicle, per month and includes automatic Remote Downloads, Digital Vehicle Analysis, GPS Tracking and Vehicle Walkaround Checks.
How much is a TADD subscription?
A TachoMagic Automatic Download Device (TADD) subscription costs £12.95 per vehicle, per month. This includes automatic driver card and vehicle unit downloads, Digital Vehicle Analysis, GPS Tracking including route history and geofencing, and Vehicle Walkaround Checks.
Can I rent a TADD instead of buying one?
Yes. You can rent the TADD hardware for just £1 per device, per month, in addition to the £12.95 monthly TADD subscription. This means the total is £13.95 per vehicle, per month without needing to purchase the hardware upfront.
How much does it cost to buy a TADD?
New TADD devices cost £120. Refurbished devices may also be available from £60, subject to availability. If you purchase the hardware, the standard TADD subscription is then £12.95 per vehicle, per month.
What is included with a TADD subscription?
Every active TADD subscription includes automatic driver card downloads, automatic vehicle unit downloads, Digital Vehicle Analysis, GPS Tracking, route history, geofencing and Vehicle Walkaround Checks. Driver Analysis remains charged at 15p per driver, per day when there is driver data to analyse.
Is GPS Tracking included with a TADD?
Yes. GPS Tracking is included for vehicles with an active TADD subscription. This includes live vehicle locations, route history and geofencing. GPS Tracking would otherwise cost £4.99 per vehicle, per month.
Are Vehicle Walkaround Checks included with a TADD?
Yes. Vehicle Walkaround Checks are included at no additional monthly cost for every vehicle with an active TADD subscription. Without a TADD subscription, Vehicle Walkaround Checks cost £2 per vehicle, per month.
How much does digital tachograph analysis cost?
Digital Driver Analysis costs 15p per driver, per day, while Digital Vehicle Analysis costs 10p per vehicle, per day. Vehicle Analysis is included at no additional charge for vehicles with an active TADD subscription.
Do I pay for tachograph analysis every day?
No. With TachoMagic's pay-as-you-go analysis, you are charged when there is tachograph data to download and analyse. You are not simply charged an analysis fee every day regardless of whether there is anything to process.
Is my first tachograph download and analysis free?
Yes. The first download and analysis for every new Driver Card and every new vehicle is free, giving you the opportunity to see TachoMagic's digital tachograph analysis before paying for subsequent analysis.
Do I need a TADD to use TachoMagic?
No. You can upload tachograph files and use TachoMagic for digital analysis without a TADD. However, adding a TADD automates the downloading process and also includes Digital Vehicle Analysis, GPS Tracking and Vehicle Walkaround Checks within the monthly subscription.
Do Vehicle Walkaround Checks have a free trial?
Yes. Vehicles without an active TADD subscription receive a 30-day free trial of Vehicle Walkaround Checks. The trial starts when the first Vehicle Walkaround Check is started for that vehicle. Vehicles with an active TADD subscription already receive Vehicle Walkaround Checks as part of their subscription.
